About Me
I am Martin Hickling. I started programming in 1973.
I used the Commodore Pet the Ohio Superboard and ZX Spectrum. I part owned A&F Software and Icon Design. We did some pioneering work in the early days of Games programming. Our most famous game being 'Chuckie Egg'.
I have machine coded Z80, 6502 and 6809. I have programmed in Fortran, Pascal, Python, Visual Basic and a few other obscure basic dialects.I have done databases with Access, dBase, Paradox and more recently Microsoft SQL, My SQL and Postgres.
My Domain was registered in October 1999. I am currently fully employed and not looking for work although if there are any Businesses in the Cheshire area that would like help setting up their own websites I would be willing to help.
